The Meghanne Storey Project founded in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic. Buck's strong blues guitar background accompanies emotional lyrics written by Meghanne.

Set Lists include roughly 90% Original Music and 10% covers sung in the Meghanne Storey style.

Meet The Meghanne Storey Project:

Meghanne Storey - singer/songwriter

A musical journey that began with Seattle Girl's Choir in the mid-1980s, Meghanne studied voice under Dee Anderson, Dr. Jerome Wright, Bill Allison, Melvin Griffin, the late/great Charles Jefferson & Jennifer Mohler. Meghanne's songwriting style flourished through the 1990's grunge/folk Seattle Music scene along with her love of 90's gangster rap. These influences are heard in her captivating lyrics and soulful melodies in TMSP.

Paul Barbus (aka Buck McCoy) - guitar

A South Seattle native, Paul comes from a musical family including his grandfather who played trumpet professionally. Paul's music career started with guitar lessons at 8yo with Frank Baffaro & an electric guitar that he still owns. In high school, Paul played trumpet in marching band & guitar in his first rock band "The Druids". His adult career included post-grunge band "1300 South". Paul continues to study guitar with Brian Feist & Cory Wild, honing his blues/rock style in TMSP. #AndBuck
